Lava, the Indian smartphone maker brand, has launched its selfie focused smartphone under X series – Lava Iris X5.
Looks like there’s a craze among smartphone makers for selfie phones these days. Recently we have seen selfie focused phones from big brands like Sony (Sony Xperia C3), Karbonn (Karbonn Titanium S19) and many others.
This device is priced at Rs 8799, sports a 5 inches IPS display with 1280 x 720 pixels resolution. The smartphone runs Android 4.4.2 KitKat OS and is powered by a Quad core processor clocked at 1.2 GHz combined with 1 GB of RAM.
The phone features a 8 MP primary camera with dual LED flash and a 5 MP secondary camera which also comes with a LED flash. Thus making the smartphone a selfie phone. The device has 8 GB on-board storage which can be expanded up to 32 GB using a micro SD card.
It comes packed with a 2100 mAh battery and supports 3G, WiFi, Bluetooth, GPS and USB OTG on the connectivity front.
