Google Releases Android 4.4.3 for Nexus Devices

The Search Giant, Google, has just released a new version of Android OS namely Android 4.4.3. In April, Sprint announced the update and now Google has finally pushed Android 4.4.3 to Factory Images for Nexus Devices page.

There are no OTA updates as of now so you got to set fastboot to install it.

The Android 4.4.3 images are dropped for Nexus 5 (GSM and LTE), both Nexus 7 (Mobile) and Nexus 7 (2013) WiFi only variant, Nexus 10 and Nexus 4.

  • Its good to hear that Google has updated OS for Nexus devices.

Google has rolled out 4.4.3 and we are still using 4.1.2 on Micromax canvas series devices. I don’t know why these mobile makers such as Micromax, Lava, Samsung are making too late to roll out update for their devices.

Although Micromax has announced about 4.4 updated around 6 months ago, but till date there are not signs of it. Big name in mobile maker market such as Google for Nexus, Apple, HTC are far ahead in updating their OS with latest firmware when as soon as it is possible.

Anyways, thanks for posting the update here on Kingged.com.

  • Hello salman,

That’s a great news from google I guess. I’d be waiting for its market release. Seems like it would be coming with some additional features.

Thanks for sharing update with us mate.

  • Nice move from the Google. I once read about the Nexus coming up with new Android OS from this blog but i still doubt. But this new development of Google’s android team is a welcome one.

But the sad news is the OTA unavailability, not all nexus users will be able to use FASTBOOT to upgrade their OS. I wish you could write an article on how to use set FASTBOOT on nexus device to OS updates 🙂

The visual refresh to phone app features is a great one and i hop to explore it, if possible.

Hope Google will enable OTA as soon as possible for this OS updates for the sake of non-geeky users.

Thanks for sharing this with us and have a nice day
